One of the top priorities for the villagers of Agome Sevah for the past few years has been a nursery for their smallest children. This not only provides education but allows thw women to work in the fields unencumbered enabling them to provide food for their families.

One of our supporters - Maria Smith- made this her personal goal and decided to run the marthon for the first time to raise some of the money required. A number of friends and other supporters also ran with her at Brighton in April 2016. A lot of the required money was raised!

We were then able to get the additional major support of the Meyers Family Foundation!! This is the second time they have made a huge donation.

In May 2016 construction started to a UNICEF approved design and specification. We then raised another £5000 for the furniture and fittings required. This great new facility was ready for the new school term in September 2016. Well done to everyone involved espcially Maria.

We are now building a surrounding wall to ensure the toddlers don't wander off!

The children are helping John Muir get the new building ready for the official opening.
