sponsorWillmott Dixon Partnerships named Dekamile as its 'charity of the year' for 2011/2012 and has donated more than £12,000 to the charity through a combination of local activities and supporting national events. The company was inspired to offer its support to Dekamile because every penny raised goes directly to the village, and the charity''s aims in leaving lasting legacies are in line with its own practice in the UK.

Willmott Dixon Partnerships managing director, Mick Williamson said, "We are investing in the communities in which we work, to create a lasting legacy. This is one of the reasons why we pledged to support the fantastic work that Dekamile does in Agome-sevah. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to help the charity to provide the village with the means to help themselves, whilst also leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come."

Rod Unger, a former Construction Manager and founder of Dekamile, added, "Without Willmott Dixon Partnerships' support the work we have carried out over the past 12 months would have been impossible and we are very grateful for the assistance that they have been able to offer. Knowing of their values and commitment to make a difference for local communities, their support should not come as a surprise to anyone"

Willmott Dixon is the UK's second largest privately-owned construction, regeneration and support services company. With 160 years of experience, the company provides services within the built environment to Government, registered social landlords, local authorities and private sector clients throughout the UK.

Having contributed significantly to the rebuilding of the clinic, the Directors and staff were keen to do more. It occurred to them that having just opened an apprenticeship school in Birmingham – the Willmott Dixon Partnerships 4Life Academy – they would like to take the lead in setting up a similar one in Agome Sevah! We are currently at the detailed planning stage and plan to open it in 2014!

Sponsor Dekamile and help build a community.
